Cuba: The Voodoo Island

Cultural and religious perspectives on the Island of Freedom are so diverse that most Cubans consider themselves good Catholics, believe in socialism, and participate in voodoo rituals. After the revolution no church has been ever closed and the Pope of Rome visited Cuba officially several years ago. Despite all their beliefs, Cubans are one of the most cheerful and yet mysterious peoples on Earth. Look at contemporary Cuba through voodoo rituals, sacrifices, mass mystic rituals, cheerful street celebrations, freakish interlacing of Catholicism, voodoo magic, and socialism. And, of course, amazing Cuban women – the most beautiful women in the whole world.
